A wonderful 1980s survey of the graphic design for television discussing a wide range of techniques available at the time and using examples by pioneering masters of the art such as Soul Bass, Bernard Lodge, David Webster, Hans Donner, Darrell Pockett, Ethan Ames, Alan Jeapes, John LePrevost and Robert Scott-Miller.

Highly illustrated chapters investigate subject areas such as sport, drama, education, light entertainment and children's programmes. The book also contains detailed sections on film and model animation and the use of digital paint systems.

Bound in black hardcovers with gilt lettering to spine, the book has over 1000 illustrations in colour and b/w. First edition, first printing. Includes its original pictorial dust jacket.

Very good condition: Clean, bright and tightly bound copy. Slight age tanning to endpapers. Dust jacket intact, although with some minor surface and edge wear.
