A striking mid-80s Paris fashion design manual from the private school Cours International Jeoffrin Byrd known for its avant-garde teaching of stylisme and modelisme. 

Le Styliste presents the full Spring–Summer 1985 collection with bold graphic plates rendered in the characteristic angular, exaggerated linework of the era. Colour trend pages introduce the season’s palette, followed by sequential design sheets covering tailoring, cocktail dresses, skirts, ensembles, evening wear, sportswear, trousers, coats, childrenswear and menswear. 

The publication gives a vivid snapshot of Parisian fashion education at a moment when the silhouette was shifting toward broad shoulders, sharp geometry and experimental layering.

Oversized format. Illustrated throughout with black and white and two-tone plates, many displaying multiple views of garments along with miniature pattern silhouettes. 

Good condition for age: Cover lightly worn, with fading and rubbing. Interior clean with light age toning. Three innermost page spreads have become loose; otherwise binding is holding.
