A wonderfully eccentric post-war British naturist annual exploring sunbathing, physical culture, nudism, swimming, health and “modern efficiency” through a curious blend of lifestyle journalism, pseudo-science, body culture and soft-focus photography. Published in 1948, the annual captures a fascinating cultural moment when naturism was framed as both a moral ideal and progressive health practice.

Heavily illustrated with black-and-white photographs of nude bathers, beaches and outdoor scenes alongside articles on sunbathing techniques, swimming, fitness and hair preservation. Particularly notable for its period graphic design, typography and unintentionally surreal advertisements - including mail-order baldness cures, rapidism manuals and physical culture products.

An evocative piece of mid-century social history sitting somewhere between underground erotica, health propaganda and alternative lifestyle publishing.

Good+ to very good- condition: General rubbing, creasing and edge wear to covers. Complete and fully readable internally.
