A co-founder of the Danish Design Council and a teacher at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts for Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK) in Copenhagen, Trägårdh was among the first industrial designers in Denmark. He contributed a great deal in the area from the 1960s to the 1990s, when he designed for a large number of companies such as Bang & Olufsen, Bodum, AP-Philips, Ortofon, Gram, Wittenborg, Lego and Eskofot.
Numerous b/w illustrations, including sketches, photographs and renderings of the office machines, communications equipment, domestic appliances and housewares designed by Tragardh since the early 1960s. With two essays examining the Swedish-born designer's career and several reprinted texts by Tragardh.
Very good condition: Unread copy. Slight surface and edge wear to covers, including some fading/discolouration and minor scratches. Internally pristine.
