Biba Empire House, Kensington Church Street, 1969 | 18 x 36 cm

Original Biba fashion mail order catalogue featuring Hans Feurer’s studio photographs of Stephanie Farrow wearing boutique designs characteristic of the late 1960s London mod / early glam aesthetic. Designed by John McConnell, the catalogue presents full-page blue-and-white photographic spreads (with foldouts) with garment descriptions, prices and design numbers, together with an illustrated overview and size chart to rear.

Biba, founded by Barbara Hulanicki, became one of the defining London boutiques of the 1960s, associated with the Chelsea / Kensington fashion scene and the transition from mod to early 1970s glam style. Original catalogues from the period are increasingly scarce, particularly with photographic content intact.

Fair+ to good- vintage condition: Covers worn with creasing, rubbing and edge wear. Interior complete with light age toning. No loose pages.
